British Bodies Observe Anniversary of June 15 Inter-Korean Declaration

| Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula released a joint statement on June 4 on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the June 15 inter-Korean declaration. The statement said: The June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, the basic idea of which is By Our Nation Itself, reflects the will of the Korean people to reunify the country by their own efforts free from outside interference. The publication of the joint declaration is a fruition of the untiring efforts made by the great Comrade Kim Jong Il who devoted his all to the reunification of the country. There was a summit meeting in Panmunjom shortly ago, the April 27 declaration was adopted and an atmosphere of reconciliation and cooperation has been created on the Korean peninsula. We fully support the Korean people in their struggle to reunify the country at any cost. |
