Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, said in a statement on June 8 that the June 15 joint declaration is a historic milestone which indicated the way for putting an end to national division and realizing reunification.

He went on:

The inter-Korean relations have gained a fresh momentum since the third north-south summit and the adoption of the Panmunjom Declaration in April. This is a result of the decision and efforts of respected HE Kim Jong Un.

Nigatu Dagnachew, chairman of the Ethiopian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said in his statement on June 6:

Very great are HE Kim Jong Un's determination and will to surely realize HE Kim Jong Il's behests on national reunification.

From the outset of this year he advanced landmark proposals for improving the north-south relations and made sure that necessary measures were taken. And he provided two summit meetings, thus giving hope and vitality to all the Korean people.

Korea will soon greet a fresh era of prosperity under his seasoned leadership.
