Pochonbo Torch Prize Marathon Held

Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- The 30km marathon was held in Kwangbok Street of Pyongyang, the DPRK with more than 100 male and female runners attended, as part of the Sports Contest for Pochonbo Torch Prize.

In the senior race, a male marathoner from the Kigwancha Sports Team and a female one from the Kim Chaek University of Technology Sports Team took the title. And those from the Amnokgang Sports Team and the Ryomyong Sports Team won the first place in the junior race.

Many male and female runners came up to the qualifying time for the national youth championship and the DPRK Championships to be held in September and October.
