Solidarity Action for Settling Issue of Sexual Slavery Waged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea waged solidarity action for settling the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army together with victims of sexual slavery from different countries in Geneva, Switzerland on June 19, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News. The organization said that the international community should make positive efforts not only for the reinstatement of the honor and rights of the victims of sexual slavery but also for the eradication of sexual violence being committed up to now in the areas of armed conflicts. It stressed that the world should become vocal urging Japan to make an apology and reparation for its crimes related to sexual slavery. |
