Attending it were figures of various political parties and organizations including the Czechoslovak Communist Party, Communist Party-21 of the Czech Republic and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea and popular masses.

The deputy general secretary of the C.C., Czechoslovak Communist Party and first vice-chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association wholeheartedly congratulated the Korean people upon continuous successes in their struggle for socialist construction and national reunification, saying:

The north-south summit at Panmunjom, a symbol of division which nobody could cross in the past, was provided thanks to the bold decision and will of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Mankind is admiring at the successes made by the Korean people in the struggle for peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and national reunification.

I am convinced that the Korean people will certainly win the final victory while translating the plan and desire of their preceding leaders into reality under the tested guidance of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

A statement supporting the Korean people's cause of justice was adopted at the meeting.

The statement expressed full support for the DPRK's efforts for ensuring stability of the world and durable and lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula and reunifying the country. It wished the Korean people bigger successes in socialist construction with the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK as an occasion.
