Commenting on the fact, Rodong Sinmun says on Tuesday:

The conservative group including the "Liberal Korea Party" made desperate efforts to turn the elections into a golden opportunity to get rid of their ruin and gain a foothold for retaking power.

However, the pro-democratic reform forces won at the elections to the local self-governing bodies with the sweeping support in 14 areas including Seoul and Pusan.

While they won 11 seats at the by-election to the "National Assembly", the conservative group managed to win one seat only to suffer a great defeat.

The recent elections in south Korea prove that there is no future for the conservative group and the worst traitors forsaken by the public mindset are doomed to ruin.

The outcome of the elections reconfirms the miserable end of those who go against the public mindset and the trend of the times.
