Kim Jong Il Lauded by Romanian Figure

Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania and chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, issued a statement on June 18 to mark the 54th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Noting that Kim Jong Il's start of work at the WPK Central Committee was an event of weighty significance in developing the WPK into an invincible revolutionary party, the statement said:

As Comrade Kim Jong Il led the WPK, socialist construction in the DPRK could be more dynamically moved forward.

Under his wise leadership the WPK developed into a revolutionary party of Juche enjoying full support of the popular masses.

We are firmly convinced that the WPK will as ever guide the Korean people only along the road of victory and glory, thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Un who is creditably carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Comrade Kim Jong Il.
