The new production method is a cost- and energy-saving one the researchers at the factory developed with the help of those from the Life Science Faculty and the Bioindustry Institute of the Institute of Advanced Science under Kim Il Sung University and the Central Mushroom Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture.

After ascertaining the cause of pollution, its stages and degrees during the mushroom production, the researchers took due measures to prevent it.

And they established a system for auto-controlling temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide concentration before developing the technology of industrial production appropriate to the physicochemical characters of rice straw and biological demands of pleurotus.

They also created a new method of measuring the activated degree of spore and manufactured mobile air disinfector, which curtails the norms of disinfectant consumption to one tenth of the previous method, to lay material and technical foundations for the industrial production.
