The letter said that his election was a manifestation of the unanimous will and desire of all servicepersons and civilians in the homeland and other fellow countrymen and an auspicious great event in the nation's history as it made it possible to glorify the socialist homeland as everlasting Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea all over the world.

It noted that Kim Jong Un opened a new chapter in accomplishing the cause of immortalizing the great leaders to add luster to their undying revolutionary careers and priceless feats for all ages and that he made the army and people give full play to their mental strength under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and thus opened up a new history of victory of Juche Korea.

The letter also said that he indicated a bright path of the north-south relations and independent reunification and took positive and pro-active measures one after another so as to create the atmosphere of reconciliation and unity on the Korean peninsula plagued with the climate of confrontation and hostility and that he provided the historic north-south summits and the April 27 Panmunjom Declaration with his firm will for reunification and patriotic and courageous decision to open a broad avenue to peace and prosperity of the nation and independent reunification.

The whole earth is overflowing with mankind's respect and reverence for and admiration at Kim Jong Un as he brought about a great event of weighty significance in making a radical turn in the DPRK-U.S. ties as required by the developing era, the letter pointed out.

The officials of the General Association and all Koreans in China, who renewed the great pride and honor of being members of the Korean nation through Kim Jong Un's three visits to China, will value and add luster to the DPRK-China friendship which he is developing on a new high stage, the letter stressed.
