Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events such as remembrance meeting, photo exhibition and film show on the threshold of the 24th anniversary of demise of Kim Il Sung.
