The New Yugoslav Communist Party said in its statement on June 18 that it hailed the DPRK-U.S. summit as it opened up a rosy prospect for establishing new DPRK-U.S. relations and building a lasting and durable peace-keeping mechanism on the Korean Peninsula, as required by the times.

Hailing the said meeting and talks, the international secretary of the Communist Party of Serbia in a statement on June 19:

We, as well as the world progressive people, are looking up to the DPRK as a fortress and beacon of socialism and watching the developments of the situation on the Korean Peninsula with pleasure and emotion.

We are sure that the respected Supreme Leader Comrade Kim Jong Un will lead all the Korean people to victory with his outstanding political caliber.

We extend firm solidarity to the Korean people's struggle.
