Amnesty and Reinstatement of Prisoners of Conscience Demanded by S. Korean Body

| Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The south Korean committee for promoting August 15 amnesty of prisoners of conscience held a news conference in Seoul on June 27, according to the south Korean newspaper Nodong and Segye. Speakers demanded amnesty and reinstatement of prisoners of conscience with August 15 as a momentum. They also demanded the restoration of the rights of many people who suffered damage under the pretence that they protested against the Lee Myung Bak and Park Geun Hye regimes. |
