MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

It decided to organize political and cultural events such as a remembrance meeting, seminar, photo exhibition and film show in praise of the revolutionary career and feats of the President.
