L. Shukolinikov, chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

It decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and feats of the President and hold political and cultural functions such as a remembrance meeting.
