It said:

There is no such a great man as Comrade Kim Jong Il who performed immortal exploits for global independence with the matchless and extraordinary ideological and theoretical wisdom and outstanding leadership.

The greatest of the exploits of leader Kim Jong Il who dynamically advanced global independence is to firmly defend Korean-style socialism by pursuing his original Songun politics.

He concentrated his efforts on the development of relations between the countries aspiring after independence and made energetic efforts to build a new world with the application of the idea of independence, peace and friendship.

His wide-ranging external activities gave a great influence to the international political situation.

His exploits will be immortal with the history of humankind.

The newspapers Pathet Lao and Vientiane Mai introduced similar contents.

The Pakistani newspaper Election Times carried an article on his love for the people under the title of "The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il Started Work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on June 19, 1964."
