Sazhi Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, M. A. Suraikin, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party "Communists of Russia", Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Mikhail Vikulin, chief of the Moscow Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, C. M. Kramarenko, chairman of the Korean War Veterans' Council of Russia, Podzorov, first secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Russia Lenin Young Communist League, Salinikov, chairman of the Regional Social Organization of Russia "Borozino", were respectively elected chairpersons of the remembrance committees.

The committees decided to organize political and cultural events including a seminar and a remembrance meeting in praise the revolutionary exploits of Kim Il Sung.
