Kim Il Sung to Be Remembered in Sri Lanka

| Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- A Sri Lankan committee for remembering President Kim Il Sung was formed in Colombo on June 24 to observe the 24th anniversary of his demise. Pradif Viseratna Sekara, chairman of the Sri Lanka-People's Korea Friendship Association and chairman of the Gampaha Branch of the Sri Lanka Society for Self-Reliance Studies, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee. The committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising Kim Il Sung's exploits for human independence from June 24 to July 9. |
