H. Jacobsen, member of the Leadership of the Communist Party in Denmark, and Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, were elected co-chairmen of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events in praise of the President's revolutionary career and exploits on the 24th anniversary of his demise.
