Miriam Pelegrini Peri, president of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy, was elected chairwoman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events including a remembrance meeting and a seminar on exploits on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of demise of the President.
