Singapore DPRK-U.S. Summit Lauded by Regional Body

| Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- The Arabian Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People issued a statement in congratulation of the DPRK-U.S. summit in Singapore. The statement said: We congratulate HE Kim Jong Un on paving the way for peace at the Singapore DPRK-U.S. summit talks. Only dialogue and mutual respect can put an end to the state of neither war nor peace existing on the Korean peninsula. HE Kim Jong Un has made every possible effort for peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the reunification of the Korean nation with a long history. History will always remember his exploits for peace in the Korean peninsula and the world. The international community warmly praises the DPRK for having taken sincere measures for peace. We support the Korean people's struggle for reunifying the country by their own efforts free from the intervention of outside forces. |
