DPRK-U.S. Summit Hailed in Nepal

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Nepalese organizations and personage hailed the DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks in Singapore. Warmly welcoming the joint statement adopted at the DPRK-U.S. summit talks, the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Committee of Nepal said in a statement: We are sure that the Korean people will realize the independent and peaceful reunification of the country by the efforts of the nation without fail in the near future. We heartily hope that the joint statement adopted between Chairman Kim Jong Un and President Trump would be honestly implemented to achieve durable peace and prosperity in the Korean peninsula. The Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics and the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal said in their statements that the Singapore DPRK-U.S. summit talks and joint statement are of great significance in ensuring peace and stability of not only the Korean peninsula but also the world. Madav Kumar Nepal, former prime minister of the Nepalese government, in a statement said the DPRK-U.S. summit meeting amid the efforts for peace proved that any issues between countries can be settled in a peaceful way through mutual dialogue. |
