Officials of the youth league and youths and students in Pyongyang took part in the meeting.

Led by Pak Chol Min, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League, all the participants swore as follows in reflection of their faith and will to become reliable reserves, advancing group and wing of the Party in the drive for accomplishing the cause of building a powerful socialist nation, hewed out by the great leaders, under the guidance of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un:

We, members of the youth vanguard, will become genuine Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists who creditably carry forward the idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, holding them in high esteem as the eternal sun of Juche and eternal leaders of the Korean youth movement.

We will become the first death-defying corps politically, ideologically and devotedly defending the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, who represents our destiny and future, cherishing deep in our mind the immutable truth that the final victory is in store for us guided by him.

We will ardently love our socialist country and become the driving force in defending it by joining the heroic Korean People's Army to glorify our young days of great worth.

With the steadfast faith that the only way out is self-reliance and self-support, we will create a series of new tales about heroic youth startling the world in the general offensive for carrying out the decision made at the April Plenary Meeting of the Party Central Committee.
