Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to hold political and cultural events including a lecture and a reading session on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of demise of Kim Il Sung.
