Talks between Vice-Chairman of C.C., WPK and International Secretary of C.C., CPC Held

| Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Talks between Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, on a visit to Cuba as head of the WPK delegation and Jose Ramon Balaguer, international secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, were held at the building of the CPC Central Committee on July 6. At the talks both sides informed each other of their party activities and exchanged views on the issue of further developing the relations between the two parties. After the talks an agreement on exchange and cooperation between the WPK and CPC was inked at the guesthouse of the Council of State of Cuba. The WPK delegation was invited to a reception hosted by the international secretary of the C.C., CPC on the same day. Meanwhile, the WPK delegation laid a wreath before the monument to Jose Marti at Revolution Square in Havana. |
