Thorough-going Investigation into Those Involved in Coup Plan Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People, in an editorial on July 11, called for strict investigation into those who hatched a plot to quench by force the candlelight demonstration of people who demanded the impeachment of traitor Park Geun Hye.

Many former and incumbent officers of the Defense Ministry are thought to have been involved in the military coup plan, the editorial said, calling for forming an independent investigation team excluding them.

It is important to pay attention to at whose instruction the relevant document of the Defense Security Command was worked out and to whom it was submitted, it stressed
