More Animals Added to Central Zoo of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- The number of animals is on the steady increase at the Central Zoo of the DPRK. Over 890 animals of more than 70 species are added to the zoo this year alone. 30 pet dogs of seven species such as gift bull dog sent by the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un last January draw attention of visitors. Among the new inhabitants are ornamental animals from Korea and other countries. The increase of the number of seals, etc, adds to the pride of the Central Zoo. More vultures, eagle owls, moorhens and other birds moved into aviary and raptors' and songbirds' cages of peculiar architectural form in the Central Zoo. The aquarium also has more fishes of dozens of species. New inhabitants, hedgehog, little owls, etc. are pleasing visitors. |
