Floral baskets were laid at the statue of the President at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin with due ceremony.

After laying the floral baskets in the name of the General Association and the Jilin Regional Association, the participants paid tribute to the President.

Floral baskets were laid before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the art works depicting their images at the DPRK embassy in Beijing and the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang of China by Choe Su Bong, first vice-chairman of the General Association, and officials of the General Association and its Zhongnan Regional Association.

A remembrance meeting of the General Association took place in Shenyang City.

Present there were officials and part-time officials of the General Association, members of the Shenyang City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association and Korean citizens in China.

Speeches were made there.

Meanwhile, the Yanbian Regional Association of the General Association held a remembrance meeting.
