Remains of More Martyrs Interred in War Martyrs Cemetery
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- Remains of DPRK Heroes Song Hae Son, Kong Jae Hwa, Ri Pyong Phil, Ri Hyong Won, Kim Je Hong and Cha Ho Nam were interred in the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery with due ceremonies on July 16 and 17 on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

War veterans Song Hae Son and Kong Jae Hwa destroyed several enemy tanks and inflicted wholesale death upon the enemy and alone repulsed four enemy attacks to defend the heights of the country for three days during the war.

Martyr Ri Pyong Phil shot several enemy planes down through a brisk aircraft-hunting team movement and martyr Ri Hyong Won, sniper hero, shot more than 150 enemies to death for four months at the battle on a nameless hill south of Kwanmu Peak.

Martyr Kim Je Hong always took the van in the air route of devotedly defending the leader and the country and devoted himself to the cause of building a powerful socialist country after the discharge.

Martyr Cha Ho Nam, who was a member of an aircraft-hunting team, shot down over ten enemy planes which indiscriminately dropped bombs on cities and rural villages.

Speeches were made at the burying ceremonies and then the remains were interred in the cemetery.

The participants in the ceremonies laid bunches of flowers at the graves of those martyrs and paid a silent tribute to the memory of them.
