Some days ago, an official of the UN human rights told journalists about face-to-face meeting with abducted women employees. Noting that those taken away to south Korea did not know where they were going, the official said if it is true, the abduction should be regarded as a crime.

Meanwhile, the then boss of restaurant, who was involved in the abduction operation of the south Korean conservative group, confessed in a phone press interview that the IS urged him to bring the women employees, threatening to reveal his cooperation with it.

Commenting on the facts, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says this was a farce invented by the Park Geun Hye group of traitors to tip the unfavorable political situation in its favor ahead of the "National Assembly" election in south Korea.

What matters is the shameless attitude of the present south Korean authorities as they are shielding this crime of the past conservative regime, persistently denying it though its truth has been fully revealed, the commentary says, and goes on:

How to approach our citizens abducted by the Park Geun Hye group is like a touchstone showing the will of the south Korean authorities for the improvement of the north-south relations.

If the repatriation of our women citizens is not settled at an early date, it may throw obstacles not only in the way of the reunion of separated families and relatives between the north and the south now high on agenda but also in the way of the north-south relations.

The south Korean authorities should admit the unethical crimes of the Park Geun Hye conservative regime, though belatedly, and strictly probe the truth about the case and severely punish those involved. And they should send back Kim Ryon Hui and other women citizens of the DPRK now in custody without delay, thus showing the earnest will to implement the Panmunjom declaration.

We will watch the future attitude of the south Korean authorities.
