Japan Urged to Roll Back Policy of Discrimination against Koreans in Japan
Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- Forty-three civic organizations in south Korea, including the Bar Association for Democratic Society, on July 16 submitted a solidarity report on the discrimination against Korean schoolers and violation of their rights by the Japanese authorities to the U.N. Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, according to the south Korean internet paper Tongil News.

Noting that the Japanese government is using the Korean schools as a political means and hostage, the organizations in the report demanded that it halt all forms of discrimination at once and fundamentally change its attitude towards Koreans and Korean schools in Japan.
