Thomas Losh, general secretary of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to organize various political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the personality of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un as the great man on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the DPRK.
