Japan's Moves for History Distortion under Fire

Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan announced the "measure for implementing the teaching manuals" on July 17 calling for advancing the period of making obligatory the education of students in Japan's claim to Tok Island in the textbooks for senior high schools to 2019, according to the south Korean newspaper Seoul Economic Daily.

Earlier, Japan forced the adoption of the teaching manuals the keynote of which made it obligatory to educate students that Tok Island is part of the "territory of Japan".

In fact, the Japanese government has already taught the students of high schools the distorted history.
