Lawmaker from LKP of S. Korea to Serve Prison Term

| Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Ri U Hyon, a lawmaker from the "Liberal Korea Party" of south Korea, was sentenced to seven years in prison at the first court hearing on July 19 for taking bribes of more than 1 billion won, according to the south Korean News 1. The accused reportedly didn't miss the chance of grabbing money by prodding his assistant, and forced him to make a false testimony when he was detained recently. |
