New Rhythmic Exercises Created
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Rhythmic exercises for athletics, boxing, heavy gymnastics and Taekwon-Do have been created in the DPRK, as part of the efforts to develop the sports on the basis of latest science and technology.

The rhythmic exercises help athletes and amateurs master basic, main and special skills in good harmony with diverse movements and musical rhythms.

According to experts, the new rhythmic exercises shorten the warming-up for players to reduce the waste of their energy, while stimulating the central nervous system to improve its control over muscle.

In particular, the rhythmic exercises for athletics and boxing were introduced into the training of students at Korea University of Physical Education as a trial, proving helpful for them in developing ability and acquiring techniques.

Now, it gains momentum to disseminate the new rhythmic exercises at sports teams and juvenile sports schools.
