Papers say that all the service personnel, people and the younger generation across the country now send warm congratulations to the fine revolutionary forerunners and genuine patriots who brought about the victory of July 27, the day of the second liberation, under the leadership of President

Kim Il Sung and have been standard-bearers and models of the advancing ranks on the first line trench where they work for the Party and country all their lives.

65 years have passed since the ceasefire on this land and there is no trace of the horrible destruction in the war when there were a great many empty cartridges on the hills and fields and soldiers had to bid farewell to their dead comrades-in-arms, failing to bury them. But the spirit of the generations of war victory, who made a breakthrough in the advance for the Party and the country, is now alive.

The victors in the great years are heroic soldiers who unhesitatingly devoted their youth and lives to the sacred war of defending the country with their noble viewpoints on future and life.

The generation of war victory is the fine model for us to learn in the campaign to carry out the new strategic line of the Party as they displayed their patriotism in practice, not in words.

The war veterans are ardent patriots and true human beings who are dedicating their lifetime to glorifying the country before the world.

They could live a happy life, sitting on the golden cushion for their contributions to the war victory, but they have lived as steadfast revolutionary soldiers all their lives. There were always war veterans at the posts called by the Party and they creditably performed world-startling heroic feats in the building of socialism.

Our generation is now faced with the mission of successfully realizing the long-cherished patriotic desire of the generation of war victory, their important task.
