Prison Term Demanded for Lawmaker from LKP

| Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean prosecution proposed 3 years in jail and a fine for Hwang Yong Chol, a lawmaker from the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP), according to the south Korean Yonhap News on July 19. Hwang illicitly took money running to 280 million won from 2006 to last year out of part of salaries of his assistants. It was reported that he also violated the election law. |
