Condolences to Lao President
|

| Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, sent a message of condolence to Bounnang Vorachith, president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on Thursday as regards the fact that the auxiliary dam of the Xepian-Xe Nam Noy hydropower plant collapsed owing to the recent two-week heavy rain in Laos, claiming many causalities. The message hoped that the Lao government would remove the aftermath of the damage as soon as possible and get the people in the affected area to lead a stable life, expressing deep condolences to the president, victims and their bereaved families. |
