Wreaths Laid at Martyrs Cemeteries

Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong, the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery on Friday, the 65th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. Seen standing on the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries were wreaths in the august name of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. Senior party and government officials Pak Kwang Ho, Thae Jong Su, O Su Yong, An Jong Su, Kim Yong Chol, Choe Pu Il, Choe Hwi, Jong Kyong Thaek and Kim Nung Ho, the chairman of a friendly party, members of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee and officials of the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions and Pyongyang city institutions and enterprises took part in the wreath-laying ceremonies. Members of armed forces organs including No Kwang Chol were present there. Wreaths in the joint name of the WPK Central Committee, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly were laid on the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries on Mt. Taesong and in Sinmi-ri. A wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK was laid on the wreath-laying stand of the war martyrs cemetery. Also, placed were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, scientific, educational, public health and media organs and party and power organs, organs, farms and universities in Pyongyang. The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the martyrs. |
