Participating in the events were members of the Swiss Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea.

They looked round the works authored by the peerlessly great men and books dealing with their greatness and watched a Korean film.

Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, said:

65 years ago, the Korean army and people won the brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War under the wise guidance of the great President Kim Il Sung, the peerlessly brilliant commander and rare military strategist.

This historic victory gave a great strength and courage to all the progressive and peace-loving peoples of the world and countries struggling for national liberation.

The Korean people's history and tradition of great victory will last forever as they are guided by the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the events.
