Those Related to Brother and Sister Spy Case in S. Korea Declared Not Guilty

Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- The Seoul High Court passed decision of "not guilty" upon those related to the brother and sister spy case and ruled that the "government" should pay indemnities worth more than 180 million won to 10 family members including them on July 24, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

In 1993 the then Security Planning Board branded the husband of the director of the Justice Solidarity for Settling the Issue of Sexual Slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army and his sister as spies and arrested them.

The Seoul High Court concluded that the investigators of the Security Planning Board arrested them without a warrant and forced a confession from them through brutal acts for 55 hours.
