S. Korean Organizations Demand Declaration of Termination of War

Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- The Committee for Implementing the Panmunjom Declaration and Promoting August 15 Grand March for Independent Reunification in south Korea made up of political parties, workers and civic organizations held an event at Kwanghwamun plaza in Seoul, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

Now is the time to demand a peace treaty and put an end to the war with the right to decide, the participants called on all the people to make concerted efforts to ensure that the war is terminated and a peace treaty come true within this year.

The Solidarity of People's Sovereignty and the Students Solidarity for Progress held a rally around Kwanghwamun on the same day to demand the signing of a peace treaty.
