Noting that President Kim Il Sung rendered unsparing material and moral assistance to Equatorial Guinea which had just gained its independence, the prime minister said the Democratic Party and the government of Equatorial Guinea would remember it forever.

He called for strengthened mutual support and solidarity in the struggle to maintain independence and realize the people's interests, stating that Equatorial Guinea, a close friend of the Korean people, would develop the friendly relations between the two countries in the future, too.
