Discrimination against Korean Children in Japan Protested

| Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- An emergency action was staged outside the Osaka City office of Japan on July 18 to protest against the city authorities' exclusion of the Korean children from the aid list, under the sponsorship of the Liaison Council for Demanding System of Aiding Korean High Schools in Osaka. Taking part in it were parents of Korean children and other Koreans in Japan and Japanese citizens. The Osaka City authorities excluded seven classes of Korean kindergarteners in the city from the aid list, a clear discrimination against classes. The participants urged the authorities to impartially apply tuition free program to the Korean classes. |
