He extended warm congratulations to the Workers' Party of Korea and all the Korean people on the occasion of the V-Day of the Korean people (July 27).

He said that the aggressors were defeated by the firm will and outstanding military strategy of President Kim Il Sung and the firm faith of the Korean people.

It is 65 years since the Korean people defeated the invaders but the Korean people's victory is greatly encouraging the world revolutionaries and progressives today, too, he said, adding:

The DPRK, which is demonstrating its might as a military power which no formidable enemy can dare to provoke, will grow stronger thanks to the seasoned guidance of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
