Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Kim Phyong Hae and other members of the WPK Central Committee attended the party to congratulate the war veterans greeting their birthdays during the conference.

In his congratulatory speech Kim Phyong Hae said that the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who considers the war veterans as valuable assets who earn their weight in gold had photos taken with the participants in the conference and took all measures so that they would spend pleasant days during their stay in Pyongyang without the slightest inconveniences, and showed the loving care of making sure that birthday spreads are arranged for them.

The birthday spreads are warmly associated with the paternal affection of the Supreme Leader for the war veterans, he said, asking them to keep the revolution flourishing in good health.

The birthday party proceeded in a happy family-like atmosphere.
