The war veterans were sent off by vice-chairmen of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea Pak Kwang Ho, Kim Phyong Hae, O Su Yong, Choe Hwi and Pak Thae Dok and cadres of the Party Central Committee, officials concerned and working people at April 25 Hotel, Pyongyang International Airport and Pyongyang Railway Station.

Meanwhile, the participants in the conference were greeted by officials of party and power organs, working people of various strata, school youth and children, families, relatives and neighbors in local areas.
