Present there were Jong Yong Won, secretary of the Central Committee of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League, Chae Il Ryong, vice-chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, camping groups of children from the DPRK, China, Russia, Laos and Vietnam and a camping group of overseas Korean children.

They laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il at the camp and made bows.

During the camping Korean and foreign campers will conduct multifarious activities including maritime activities, sports and amusement games and meetings of national days.
