Under the instructions given by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan in March this year to reflect the issue of Japan's territory in the teaching program for senior high schools, a wrong education in "dominium over Tok Island" has already began at senior high schools. The recent move is prompted by an ulterior intention to secure firmer legal guarantee for such education.

The same is the case of the already-adopted teaching manuals. The manuals say that Tok Island is "pertaining to Japan" and it is "illegally occupied".

Rodong Sinmun Thursday in a commentary says that the brigandish education to grab territory at the primary, secondary and senior high schools proves that the Japanese reactionaries' ambition for reinvasion has reached extremes.

Clear is what they seek, says the commentary, and goes on:

They seek to persistently instill the idea that Tok Island is the "occupied territory of Japan" into the generations to come so as to train them as maniacs of revanchism and militarism for shock brigade of aggression and to invent pretext and external justification for provocation of territorial disputes.

Their oft-repeated claim to "dominium over Tok Island" is a prelude to reinvasion.

All the Korean people will never pardon the reckless act of those hell-bent on the ambition to grab territory, the commentary warns.
