S. Korean Authorities Urged to Act at Their Own View: Minju Joson
Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson Friday in a commentary says that the south Korean authorities have not yet gotten rid of dependence on outside forces over the issue of inter-Korean relations.

They try to solve the issues of inter-Korean relations in dependence on the U.S. or call for "thoroughgoing implementation of sanctions" and "close cooperation of the international community" when impure forces under the veil of UN made public a report to put pressure upon the DPRK, says the commentary, and goes on:

More than three months have passed since the adoption and announcement of the Panmunjom Declaration but substantial undertakings to add to the joy of the fellow countrymen have not been vigorously launched as the south Korean authorities take double-dealing stand, reading other's face.

Notably, their one-sided policy toward the U.S. has somewhat baneful impact on the radical improvement and all-round development of inter-Korean relations.

The typical proof is a wrong stand of the south Korean authorities to propel the DPRK-U.S., north-south dialogue clinging to the coat-tails of the U.S.

If one lacks backbone under strong bias, one will dance to the tune of others as the south Korean authorities do. This will badly let down all the fellow countrymen who want to bring earlier peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean peninsula under the banner of By Our Nation Itself.

Explicitly speaking, it is the north and the south that are responsible for the implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration whatever the surrounding situation.

The south Korean authorities should turn out to improve inter-Korean relations with their own view, not for seeking political interests nor for saving their face.
