S. Korean Civic Body Criticizes Supreme Court's Scandal
Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- The Justice Preserving Solidarity for Settling the Issue of Sexual Slavery of the Imperial Japanese Army in south Korea in a statement on July 30 reportedly demanded strict investigation and punishment of Ryang Sung Thae, former president of the Supreme Court who attempted to turn down the damage suit filed by the victims of the sexual slavery.

The administrative office of the court tried to turn down the damage suit filed by the victims of the sexual slavery against the Japanese government in 2016 when Park Geun Hye was in power, the statement pointed out.

Scandals of Ryang Sung Thae should be thoroughly investigated until the truth behind them is probed, it said, adding this will be the first step toward the restoration of rights and honor of the victims.
